Outsourced IT support and server upgrade and migration (NT SBS 4.5 to Windows SBS 2003)

Redd Factors, a financing company, needed professional IT support for their IT infrastructure. Focus Computer Services Limited has supported Redd Factors over the years and ensured their business critical infrastructure has remained available and recoverable when needed. Although the site was running on older technology (SBS 4.5) until recently, this infrastructure served the company reliably over the years. Recently, a complete server upgrade was implemented and the site was migrated and upgraded from NT4 SBS 4.5 to Windows SBS 2003. The upgrade and migration were seamless, started on a Friday afternoon and on Monday morning it was business as usual. The detailed planning and execution of the upgrade and migration meant that Redd Factors had very little downtime and the users noticed no impact (apart from knocking off at 15h00 on the Friday afternoon, which no one really complained about).

We continue our close relationship with Redd Factors on a day to day basis, providing remote administration and ongiong support. We are proactively check their server and network daily to ensure that the infrastructure runs optimally and aim to diagnose and resolve any issues before they have an impact on users.
