IT Infrastructure Audit

Lynbrook Homes, a care home, wanted to have the current hardware and software configuration of their computer workstations documented so that the software could be standardised between offices and older machines could be upgraded to keep pace with the demands being placed upon them. Focus Computer Services Limited completed a comprehensive audit of the workstations producing a detailed summary of the current configuration and state of each workstation. A comprehensive report was then presented to the client illustrating areas which required improvement and a proposal to remedy the situation which would prove both beneficial and a worthwhile investment to move forward with. As a result of the report Focus Computer Services Limited were commissioned to carry out the required work which involved upgrading both the hardware and software used by the client. The desktop environment was at the same time customised to give a consistent look and feel across all the computers in the company to improve productivity and ease of use.

As the setup of the workstations is now fully documented the company can be confident that their software licensing situation is up to date and if any support issues do arise the client can be sure that all relevant information is readily available to allow for a quick and effective resolution to the issue.
